The questions we are asked
Is the subscription mandatory?
Yes. The creation price covers designing and publishing your site; the subscription covers keeping it online, up to date and backed up. It is not a licence to use: the site and its foundation are yours as soon as the creation is paid for. The subscription pays for a service, not for permission. A site nobody maintains eventually goes down, and we do not deliver sites meant to go down.
How long until my site is live?
Development takes one to three weeks depending on the package. In practice, though, your content sets the timeline: a project where photos and copy are ready moves fast, one where they still have to be produced can wait months. We tell you this at the first conversation.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes, from the entry-level package, at no extra cost. You change your text and images from a simple interface, without touching the structure or being able to break anything. It is what most sets us apart from a provider who bills for every comma.
What happens if I stop the subscription?
The site is no longer published, but it stays yours: we hand you its full .zip archive, including code, technical foundation, content and database. Your domain name has been registered in your name from day one: it stays yours. Moving it requires a transfer to the account of the provider you choose, and we give you the transfer code on request. So you leave with a working site that any developer can take over.
